Heads up for #nostr. On reddit the most commonly asked question about using nostr is information changes. Most new users have issues understanding relays. If you have any videos/articles on this subject let me know so I can post it there

Following for more info. I no real idea about what ones to use but understand there purpose, I am on iris and am using the basic that were preset plus nostr.wine. Happy for any suggestions

i found this https://nostr.watch/relays/find im still not sure how many is a good amount. I did find that you can set some preferred ones in nos2x. Also the best thing I found was in the iris settings you can set relays public and it pushes them to other clients. Plus I screen shot my list in case of some catastrophic failure. 😂

Filter.nostr.wine is probably one of the best paid relays. When you connect to it, it is able to also send your note to a bunch of other relays on your behalf. It increases your reach while simultaneously decreases battery usage since you can remove the duplicate relays.
