Bitcoin layer one was never optimized for tiny amounts of bitcoin. It’s like driving an 18-wheeler to work everyday. It’s like if every email ever sent by everyone had to be stored on everyone’s computer forever.

I invest in things for the developing world, and they are all part of the layered solution.

A month ago everyone was fine with lightning as the primary solution for payments, especially for the developing world. The apps and tools being built for the global south are lightning based.

But now folks are preaching full sovereignty on the main chain as the only acceptable outcome. I don’t get it.
