Yesterday I parked the car in a mall carpark and went off to do a shop. My wife and dog stayed in the car. I walked about 100 ft when I heard a big chorus of dog barking frenzy. There was a pack of feral dogs attacking the car. They were jumping at the door and window, scratching and biting. Full bezerker mode. I shouted and started running to the car and they eventually ran off. Car door was covered in scratches and dog saliva. My wife was freaked. She said it was like some horror movie with a bunch of dogs all teeth and anger going mental 1 ft from her face at the car window. Really fortunate she hadn't got out of the car as she usually does to give the dog a quick walk.
