#ZCash vs #Monero: We are not the same

OKX announced its decision to delist 20 spot trading pairs privacy-focused cryptocurrencies on Jan. 5, including the three largest: Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), and Dash (DASH).

Binance will do the same.

The Monero community expects (and wants) to be delisted from CEXes, because its blockchain was designed as p2p #privacy money.

ZCash community is facing discussions about the implementation of "exchange-only" addresses, which are transparent addresses that do not offer the privacy features of z-addresses.

Binance has reportedly set a deadline for ZCash to implement this address type, or face delisting from the exchange.

ZCash currently supports two types of addresses: private (z-addresses) and transparent (t-addresses). The use of transparent addresses is a topic of debate due to potential delisting by exchanges.

Monero has only one type of address: private. Monero runs privacy by default.

The decision to implement transparent addresses for exchanges is still under discussion within the ZCash community.

Zcash will cuck, split and its last privacy concerned hangers on swallowed into Monero.

Second state victory against privacy coins, firat was whirlpool persecution, which scared devs and users alike. The wisdom of certain design decisions in Monero bares fruit in time.

Thanks for the update.
