GM,friends! How you doing today?

I started my day reading the poetry book I borrowed from the library. “Scars & Stars” is written by a former addicted homeless man who writes about his memories living in the streets. It’s quite sad but interesting and moving. I love self fiction and autobiographical poems interest me a lot. I think there’s always something in our lives that can be turned into a poem. The author survived addiction and got his life back,got married and has a child. Nowadays he’s a professor and advocates for homeless people.

Even if poetry it’s not your thing, it’s worth giving it a try. I just found another Canadian writer that I admire. 😀☺️
