I use a Nikon D810 when I do digital. But I do a lot of overlapping with analog shots as well. Nevertheless, the actual work is post-production here

Thanks. My Norwegian photographer friend uses a Nikon also but my other photographer friends use a Canon camera.

Not sure what your last sentence means? Beautiful photo & shot, btw.

Do you mean the post-production?

It is the largest part of this work.

Photoshop, Lightroom and so on.

Thank you for the compliment 🫶🏻

Yes, post production. So editing, basically.

You’re welcome. You’re a very talented Photographer!

I also prefer analog stuff; TANGIBLE things that can be touched. More real and I tend to think digital things are a lot more ephemeral & more susceptible to be tampered/ manipulated.

yes, analog and untouched, when talking about photography is the only way for me.

When I do digital is to create and build art, meant to be digital, so the post-production is core.

Thank you again.

Can you please post an analog pic that’s untouched? So rare these days!

All the perfectly edited & photoshopped images of girls with perfect bodies in magazines, (social) media and advertising has really affected the perception of standards of female beauty. Difficult being a young girl growing up — impossible standards. “Influencers” has only increased shallow vapidness and materialism in society, imho.

The first time one of my Photographer friends and I hung out, we did a photo session. Analog. Actual Kodak film developed at a place. I still have pics. He’s a self taught Photographer/Artist and very talented.

here is one

Very nice pics! Yep, very talented! The Norwegian Photographer friend does mostly landscape photography. But I have a French Photographer friend who was/is part of the fashion industry. He took a beautiful pic of my favorite model ever, Christy Turlington.

Thanks. Appreciate it

here another one

I have yet to hit Amsterdam and sorta regret passing up 2 chances to go there when younger.

There’s a PBS Masterpiece Theatre American TV series called “Van der Valk” which is set in Amsterdam/Netherlands that’s very good. Have you heard of it?

I know an American 🇺🇸Professor who teaches at a uni in 🇳🇱Netherlands, along with his 🇳🇱Dutch wife.

When I was a kid, I had a pen pal (old fashioned handwritten letters) in the Netherlands, and he sent me some Dutch music. His name was Kerr, but can’t recall if first or sur name.

I don't know about the series but I just live here. Not Dutch. Amsterdam is an interesting chapter. Not what I'm used to, it's quiet and small. But it's a positive breather at this moment.

September is an interesting month to visit it.

Amsterdam looks and seems interesting. I like all the bicycles and canals. Definitely on list to visit in future!
