Yeah but a few games just don't seem to want to run, most notably Record Of Lodoss War (my dad really likes it and I'm trying to let him replay it)

I was using a .cdi file (which doesn't work even though they are supposed) but I installed a .gdi of the same game and it runs now. I'm not sure I understand why but I also don't really care as long as it works lol
I found on retroarch chd format worked best. Saves some disk space too.

Yeah I've never had issues with chd files I've noticed, that might be the path forward
