Over the past little while I’ve been contemplating checking out the #fediverse by signing up on Mastodon.social

I haven’t been able to bring my self to go through with it. I earnestly think all we need is #nostr . That we are just early here, and it will gradually pull others from the fediverse and centralized platforms, into Nostrland

The network effects for the established centralized platforms are obviously strong, and they have their grasp on the masses. But that seems to be changing slightly, with people are recognizing the flaws and friction points.

What do your take on it? What’s it good for if anything? Worth checking out or nah?
