People spend their whole lives investing in the fiat Ponzi ‘savings’ vehicles and when shown a way to avoid massive debasement they cannot allow themselves to see they’ve been ‘being rugged’ for decades.

And when they are not hostile, because maybe they are close to you, they just threat you like a visionary/gambler/naive/dreamer, making fake smiles saying "yeah I do believe you are right, but.. (they know better, they know it will fail, blocked, banned..)"
Until one day.. they find out.. they come back at you.. But it's late, they can GFY.. "DYOR, find your way".
Was same in Covidscam. I said from early’20 scam, just got condescending put downs, now look where we’re at with all that 🤷♂️
I moved from many of those "friends" in Covid scam because of this..
Was so tempted to send now all the proof of what was and that are being released now.. but who cares, they will not, they will find excuses and stupid alibi to justify their decision and still neglet the reality we live in.
I moved away from them, completely different incentives.. they choose to stay blind to avoid the pain and to not be ostracized, I instead embraced not complying, not being not deceived, and the loneliness derived by my choices.
Bitcoin is the most meritocratic distribution of wealth I can think of. There are people who are not buying bitcoin at the price they deserve (too young, not enough wealth, not enough luck...) or fiat billioners friend of the governement that can put new printed money into bitcoin and unfairly enrich themself (so "unfairly luck"/criminals).
But in the grand scheme of things bitcoin is the definition of justice.
The people you describe are real, are the majority, are around me and you, and they will pay their superb.
And I'm sure, in the end, they will be so superb to not recognize the chance they loss and they will pass to the next "current-thing-to-think".
They are so superb.
Fiat world has given them roles, entitlements, jobs, power, privileges. And they think they have obtain all they have thanks to their merits. They fallen for this easy fiat-ego-booster, they are fragile and weak. They have turned into the first enemy of themself.
Everyone have the life he deserve, luck is real, but few are in the extremes of the spectrum and are really "so lucky" or "so unlucky".
The other will have what they deserve.

I was too stupid and deceived by pictures of some random circular chip/coin/token with transistors and a big B.. in 2014 thought was golden 😅, and Italian media at time.. lol, probably a monkey would explained it better.
Chances are they’ll be pulled kicking and screaming into the new system. A system built on “truth, hope and abundance” as Jeff Booth would say.
At some point they won’t have a choice but until then they’ll resist at all cost to themselves
