In general, we use our free time to develop apps for everyone to use freely, without any strings attached, not even a monetary price.

Software projects, even the simplest ones, can become very time consuming over time. It takes real dedication & serious discipline to constantly fix bugs & improve the product.

Every #FLOSS maintainer additionally knows, how tough it is to get enough manpower for maintaining a free product.

Therefore, it is already usually extremely difficult for us to provide software, which is well made enough for a majority of users.

If you add accessibility features & services on top of all that, it makes the whole project tons tougher & more difficult to maintain, even though it's already very tough without those.

Plus, even if we would dedicate time to make it accessible, it would probably be shitty anyway, since we cannot "check" whether it works, except something like font sizes.

If you are sincere about your request, please consider supporting projects you need to have accessibility features added to.

There is a wide range of possibilities for supporting an #OpenSource project.

This is an incomplete list with the most important contribution methods.

1. Submit code.

2. Donate money.

3. Test the software & open issues consisting of useful & helpful bug reports.

4. Help out by dealing with issues, which other users have faced.

5. Organise bug reports & feature requests, so developers don't have to waste time on non-code related organisational stuff.

6. Ask what the maintainers need most at the moment & help them out there.

7. Find other supporters & maintainers for the project.

8. Use your social reach to extend the product's user base.
