i lived in the town where my friend lives for years (that's how i know him), so i know how much things cost there. africa is a huge continent and life varies depending where you are. togo is one of the poorest countries in the world.

my rent was $50 a month there and that was considered expensive. trust me, people ain't spending $5 for lunch in that town.
I know it's very different from one country to another, but still poor doesn't mean uneducated. there are probably a lot of people in Togo who know what bitcoin is.
I’m just talking about my friend. I’m not saying that people in general there don’t know what bitcoin is, but I’ve visited and stayed in many villages in Togo and I’m pretty sure the amount of people that know what bitcoin is is very small.
