Being free doesn’t mean being reckless. It means having the ability to decide based on your own experiences. You are responsible for yourself and your surroundings. If one day you decide you like the beach, but after a month of experiencing it, you realize the mountains are actually your thing, there’s no problem at all. You must experience life for yourself.
