I was referring more towards journalists and dissidents under oppressive regimes. I do see the hippocrisy of public figures touting privacy. It has become a marketing buzzword.

The reality is that privacy is not binary, there is no "you're now private" or "this wallet/software is private" it's much more nuanced and relies heavily on how these tools are used and audited.
