Did you ever felt social preassure because of your music taste ? In a way you feel like you can't share it with those around you ? I felt that way my entire life and the few times I tried to travel with my playlist on with someone else on the the car I got looked down.
The avarage taste for music got dumbed down over the years so liking vydia osts, classical or jazz are looked upon like alien or elitist behavior. So I'm glad I can share here with nostrland.

This reminds me of a greentext story about a guy who tried to share some music he liked that he was an early fan of to some girl, who dismissed it. I rarely ever get the chance to talk about music in real life, and when I do, it's usually with metal or punk guys. But yeah, it's awkward to explain you only like OSTs and stuff from other cultures.
I don't think I ever talked about music properly with anyone persnally, I just hide under the guise "I'm not much into any genre". But I agree, talking with people of different cultures than yours is awkward af.

For sure. And I almost don't bother pitching the music I make myself to others either, not that it comes anywhere close to something like Nier ost's ofcourse. But it has soul nevertheless!
On a sidenote, I usually dislike tracks with lyrics in them but in Nier they're the best shit ever. It is a testament to how lyrics do not actually matter but rather the way they're sung. You do not need to understand what they're singing to understand the message. Pure art.

I think in most cases it's healthier and better for an musician not bothering with playing for acquaintaces for free. I hear a lot of cases they end by either getting pulled down by those around or having to work for free.

It might have something to do with tor settings.
I force tor on all zaps and if you don't have that enabled that might be the reason it doesn't work but I dunno.
