Im fairly sure this won’t be popular but fuck it. If this place is about free speech the hopefully folks can take this the way it’s intended.
It’s been six months since I poked my head in here for a look: impressions are similar to last time. This place is just too BTC centric in terms of content and contributors that it’s no surprise at all to me that it’s proving difficult to reach a broader audience.
If the idea is to compete with X etc that has to change.
I think that you think about it and talking about it is nostr adoption itself. I think all of the world will be bitcoin centric sometime, so with many people here will be many other topics, not only btc and stuff. I mean they came for btc but will tell about their lives more. I love bitcoin but for me Nostr is not so bitcoin centric, it is more Nostr centric. Every fucking body consider it necessary to express that Nostr needs this, Nostr needs that. How Nostr will win, how it will become big. How Nostr will fall or fail, how it must be developed and spam protected and many many other stuff. Nostr is growing when users care. Even if they'll go away, their opinions will stay.
Well in my opinion #BTC and #Nostr belong together like Siamese twins .👽 For example, I found #Nostr by accident when I read something about BTC somewhere. It may seem to you that this is only about BTC but it is a part and each part fits like a cog in the whole machine.🤷🏿♀️On #Nostr there are already various apps like maps , shops etc and the future plans are huge and I am 100% sure that #Nostr = new kind of internet and BTC is like blood for #Nostr.
Here you can see what's new and what's planned for the future, it's just not as visible at first glance 👀
