Scene: checkout in posh grocery store in big town. Mr. Grump has actually managed to focus long enough to make it to the till with me.

Mr Grump: why did you only get one bag of coffee beans? That's not nearly enough!!

Me: That's good coffee. I always just get one bag of good coffee. When we go to [cheap store] I'll buy a cheap bag, mix them together, and then we get drinkable coffee for an affordable price.

Cashier: ... (but he didn't charge us for the extra grocery bag I needed *)
