Well as a house full of women with long hair - you need a shower shroom my friend. Game changer. I only have to snake the drain every couple years.

I must confess that I have clean out the drain every three months, and my hair is only shoulder-length.

I have long hair and always try to catch excess hair and roll it up and throw it out after I wash up, but I occasionally use a small short plunger on my drain since my shower stall has a non-removable drain filter/cover that has holes it it. You might try to plunge in the meantime. Good luck!
