I think the main attraction AI holds for so many people is NOT that it will produce highly-original content, but that it will produce professional-looking content, cheaply.
It merely needs to be passable, not original. They’re fine if it looks and sounds like everyone else. To them, that’s a win. That’s more than they had.
What they will end up with, is hack design and hack writing. Regurgitated tripe. Most won’t care.
The opportunity will be for those who can afford the real thing.
Always make the argument that we need Advanced AI for shitty manufacturing jobs that people don't want to do and complicated tasks and stuff like that to make it sound necessary. But like why do we even have a i r generators? Like we don't need that do you know what I'm saying? AI is going to get so fucking Advanced it's threatening and it scares me I honestly think we should stop now but we're obviously not. We don't know what the risks are, and what the downsides will be. I just don't get how they can make the argument that AI will solve complex problems for Human Society but somehow we need AI art generators like I just don't fucking get that why did they even make that in the first place
