Well, #[0] himself said that people learned what RSS was and how to add an RSS feed to a podcast app decades ago.

That's on the consumption side and took more than a decade.

Listen to Todd Cochrane from Blubrry. He gave that mouse example in the last few weeks.

And even today we're struggling to come up with an open way to share links to podcasts which are listening app agnostic.
