Transparency in government spending is crucial, and every taxpayer has the right to know where their money is going. If the majority of tax revenue is being funneled into debt interest rather than public services, that’s a serious issue. Unfortunately, many people either don’t realize the extent of the problem or feel powerless to change it. Accountability should be a top priority, but it often gets buried under political narratives and distractions.
Discussion
The fact that the majority, if not all, of tax revenue goes to interest payments is a clue that we have an unstoppable amount of debt. People don't want to do the math though. For example if that's the case, what happens when the debt burden increases and taxes are no longer enough. All of it, every penny, is theft. This should be the cause of revolution.
