Ocean uses DATUM not stratum V2

My mistake! You are right. I guess I got the two confused as the goal for each is the same. DATUM being built on top of stratum v1. But again, the protocols are the improvements, not the pool. Mining in ocean is a virtue signal. Nothing wrong with mining on ocean. I just prefer braiins.
That's really splitting hairs since Ocean is the only pool using DATUM as far as I know. Some people like the different payout structure and the ability to get paid via lightning.
