-blinded-

The people lined up,

In endless masses;

Just like sheep,

Only wearing sunglasses.

They had to shield themselves,

From reality’s harsh glare;

They numbed themselves,

So they wouldn’t care.

They never stopped,

To look around;

As the system,

Ground them down.

No time left,

To ask a question;

Don’t look just leap,

That’s the intention.

It’s a long fall,

But it’s not the drop;

It doesn’t hurt,

Until that sudden stop.
