Why do so many accounts here involved with Bitcoin. I mean, I get it, but it's like 70% of the accounts I see. #asknostr #nostr

Because when you truly understand Bitcoin, it's hard not to talk about it.

I certainly do, but why more here than elsewhere?

Because in those other platforms, once you start talking about freedom and Bitcoin, they seem to ban you or shadow ban you.

Which means your message won't be seen or heard.

When Nostr got popular, it got popular in Bitcoin Twitter, so a lot of people started posting their npubs there and migrating from those networks. Some of the client developers were bitcoiners too and worked on integrating it tightly into the protocol, hence why we have zaps.
