Most if not all of us here are in a level of surplus we have no idea.
Those who have no bank account are probably not worried about nostr rather their hierarchy of needs.
The Nostr crowd on a whole appears to be on the affluent side
I no longer have a checkbook and have to go-to the post office tomorrow to buy a money order to pay for annual dues to club that doesn't even take fees via PayPal. I guess that's progress.

I would argue having a lot of bank accounts in different countries is a good thing.
As long as we need to use fiat, having better access to fiat rails improves your sovereignty.
