But a paid relay could drop and censorship just easily. Though I guess you mean you could use many cheap paid relays and the network is better off for users🤔

I just see it/use it as a free public relay. I don't have a private paid anything. I am running (well currently broken🫠 strfry) a open public relay mostly for my own back up of messages I guess.
