Dont use Session either. Its not using the real Tor, it uses Tox, and only uses 3 bounces for speed inprovements.
everything has tradeoffs, signal requires phone numbers which is not great privacy wise but makes contact discovery and ux easier, for the overwhelming majority of people moving their conversations to signal is a massive privacy improvement
