If you’re wanting to reduce the amount of spam in your global feed, make sure you’re not connected to the damus.io relay (or have it set as write only) and check out paid relays 🤙

How do you go about changing the settings on a relay? I am currently using Damus.

Not possible on Damus currently. Can be done via https://snort.social/ under settings - relays.

Damus does allow you to remove/add them, but not edit their read/write settings *

When changing the settings to write only, does damus not respect that setting? Seems like I am still seeing the spam within damus even after changing to only write.

Did you save the settings on Snort? If you did, seems that Damus is overwriting that upon login.

I did. And unfortunately still seeing the spam. Is Damus the only nostr app?
