After an earbud incident I was forced to go back to my old wired setup, holy crap the difference in quality is like 720 and 4K. Wireless is practical but even a pair of $30 in-ears play your favorite tracks with brilliant clarity.

So this thing here is a Cayin N3, HiFi DAP that clips flacs in just the right way. Lately the battery started discharging on me and now I got around to replacing the old one with some fresh lithium polymers.
But turns out there's also a software bug so the thing only charges to 92% and shuts off way too fast.
Luckily the old/latest firmware is still available, so after decoding it I discovered that this thing runs a full blown Linux with `batd`. I don't have root yet but wondering if there's anyone else out there who has a cayin n3 too or knows how to reset batd?
