For mobile clients (e.g. Damus, Amethyst), some users want the ability to schedule posts for the future (e.g., 4 hours from now, 8 hours), especially in terms of reposts for users around the world. This is the kind of feature that would pair well with a paid service if integrated into the client. For example, a Damus Purple user could schedule for the future, the event is signed, and not broadcast to all relays immediately, but rather a single relay tied to Damus which then releases it for availability and broadcasts to others at the scheduled time.

Thanks for writing the note nostr:npub1yx6pjypd4r7qh2gysjhvjd9l2km6hnm4amdnjyjw3467fy05rf0qfp7kza Me trying to explain this to a dev in normy speak not so easy.

Apart from this being a great premium feature. I’m even more bullish on the fact it will engage more people globally. Coming from a polar opposite time zone I asssure you it is a roadblock to following and engagement. It works both ways of course.

This feature will see even greater adoption of #Nostr globally and can’t wait to see it in Damus. nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s
