Trezor is open source. I think the point he's making is that a lot of other wallets are not. The code may be auditable but not truly open source and leads to issues with being able to verify the firmware.
Is Coldcard and Blockstream Jade not open source?

Jade is opensource, and CC is "code verifiable" but licensing is not technically open source.
And what risks does this pose?
