I was raised among what other would call feral. I was raised in a way that I had always thought I simply sprouted from the ground, from which my bare rest firmly. I was raised to belong among the grass, among the beasts, among all which God made. I was raised to hold dear and to be a steward of all which flowed through me. I was raised to raise my own in the same way, to raise the next generation or sentients of all that is good. Until I return to the earth on which my feet rest firmly.
