How about only start REQ-ing these infos once the user stopped scrolling? I think that would be a good idea instead of doing it at every scroll movement.

Today it waits 300ms before requesting. We can wait more but the updates start to become noticeable and somewhat annoying like a 10 fps game, even though the screen is at 60 fps.
