Helps keep my peace if someone’s initial thought of me is that I’ll be unhelpful and abrasive, otherwise I have to expend too much of my time/attention/energy keeping up with requests, & I don’t mind proving otherwise as I want to. However, your right about tendencies - this nym started as an alt account long before I could call myself a bitcoiner, when it was more reflective of my outward appearance and actions.

But, there’s a type of person who doesn’t get past their interpretation & it brings out the worst in them. New to me is the realization that I want to know it offends them so that I can avoid them, but it’s suspicious when it comes from prominent names in the space.
