OpenSats paid Nostr devs so they can focus on Nostr stuff rather than only part-time while having to work a regular job.
I didn't know they were giving that kinda money
Grants enough to pay for full-time devs?
They paid Alex Gleason, for example, money to work on his Ditto project full time. This is great because this is the best nostr software , frontend and backend.

It's yet to become a "thing"
Because it's a heavily fragmented ecosystem now. It's been 3 years at least and nothing really good yet.There is no excuse for that. Primal still barely works after all these years
