So a relay that accepts image links computes a list of the md5 of each image. Then clients can filter messages that contain an md5 in their filter list. Do this for other media types too (though puts computational burden on relays). Could also do this on urls (on domain because if you do whole url bots could add random query strings)

Idk if other spam solutions make all this unnecessary.
