I don’t think so. Maybe in the extreme evangelical churches. But in the wider church I think Christians just don’t know what to think. They instinctively think Jews should be protected after the holocaust and that the holy land should not be in the hands of Muslims. Israel has played on these sentiments very successfully for 75 years but now the genocide is open and televised and the starvation is obviously caused by Israel. Now a lot of Christians are just confused and frankly just want to ignore the issue. I think Christians need to take a very good look at themselves and decide where they stand on this issue. It cannot be ignored any more. It’s eating away at our soul.
Yes, the evangelical churches are the problem, but really Protestant churches in general.

I don’t think Judaism is the problem. Zionism is the problem. It’s a 200 year old atheist philosophy that has co-opted a 3000 year old religion. This is a problem that Jewish ppl need to deal with the same as “Wahhabism” is problem Muslims need to deal with. Nonetheless there’s a genocide and a manufactured famine that is happening right now in front of our eyes which Christians want to ignore. We can’t ignore it anymore.

Nope. Zionism is born out of secular Judaism. That’s Moses Mendelson’s invention. Moses Mendelson was a follower of Sabbatai Zevi. The aim was to bring secular Jews back into the fold by saying they’re a religion and an ethnicity.

Agreed. But it’s a cult that has taken over the religion. It’s like if the mormons now ran the Vatican and the CofE. That’d be a problem Christian’s need to deal with but it doesn’t invalidate Jesus’s teachings.

Christ was a Jew, except we believe that his teachings supersede Jewish law, and they didn’t. I guess Christianity was a hard fork and Judaism turned into bitcoin cash. Hmm something to think about. But ultimately I refuse to believe that a 3000 year old compassionate religion would gleefully commit genocide unless it was co-opted. We believe that because God made a new covenant. Jews are coming from an invalid place because they don’t recognize that covenant.
Christ is Christ, to suggest he was jewish is absurd. He is god incarnate and was sent as a rebuke to the jews after many many chances to repent.
If you believe judaism is a compassionate religion then you haven’t looked at history or their religion.
