Good morning nostr, and happy friday. Well the community meeting last night, in regard to the proposed lithium battery storage facility got a little heated. There will be a larger town meeting soon, with a rep from the company. There are too many unanswered questions, especially about fire mitigation procedures in case of fire. Our little volunteer fire depts are not equipped for this kind of fire. To complicate matters, the land is being leased to the battery company by one of the county commissioners. Then the whole thing about wind turbines and bitcoin miners. So the residents near that land are not happy.
