It's good. Pretty fast. Notifications tab completely sucks though.
Notifications tab is working great. Maybe you tested in the past before it was improved.

I agree, it can be improved: currently it's too compressed, and each item has little context, so it slows down browsing.
Amethyst has the same problem, for the opposite reason :)
