I think people are just fed up with his shit. The house he blew up, all the money he throws around. He's an asshole. But on the other hand he's very smart and funny and not a bad egg. I liked him since ever. The show made me want a homestead and think it might be possible to learn enough to run a small one. I'd love to combine a remote job with homesteading. Now excuse me, I have a dead pheasant to take care of😬

That's the general sentiment around him indeed, he's a twat but he's entertaining and can be clever when he needs to be, that's my view anyway ha.
Got to the battle he had with the council now, I love how he's just gone "suing you would cost too much I'll just find loopholes." Big applause from me. Those councils are as he said laws unto themselves.
And yes I like the idea of living off your own land as well, with a small piece of land it's far more manageable.
