Yeah, understood. But when your career spans 30 years, 2021 is relatively recent history 😂
Being able to ask it about stuff that happened 10-20 years ago to refresh your memory is very convenient.

Yeah, it happened a lot less often in my case at least 😂
Even trying to use search engines and Wikipedia is too much friction for all but the most important writing.
But this is a level of convenience that makes it usable even for casual conversation. Especially for stuff that you lived through but want to check your memory and you’re able to sniff out if is misleading you without having to do as much double and triple checking.
