🇬🇧 GOOGLE’S AI BOSS SAYS DISEASE COULD END—AND THAT’S JUST THE START

DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis says AI is moving at full throttle—and could cure all disease, redesign science, and maybe even rewrite how we live.

He called it a “radical abundance” future, where AI solves problems faster than we can dream them up.

His team’s latest creation, Astra, can see, listen, and reason in real time—like a digital assistant with better manners and a photographic memory.

And with AGI on the horizon, Hassabis says machines may soon think like humans—just without the mood swings.

But he’s not blind to the risks: if we don’t build in safety, AI could outpace us in ways we don’t control.

His take? Treat it like raising a super-intelligent child—just one that might someday run your job, your health, and everything selse.

There is no way they share the abundance with all socioeconomic classes because that means they'd have to share money and resources as well.
