I think their social media marketing guy is just doing engagement farming.

Drivechain would kill all altcoins theoretically and bring all that value to bitcoin without having to change bitcoin main chain but allowing for all the shitcoinery on trustless side chains.

There’s benefits for bitcoiners such as true private transactions.

Increased revenue for bitcoin miners.

Increase non-custodial wallet adoption.

LN at its current state can not scale to 8 billion people. But drivechain implementation could.

Not saying drivechain would replace LN. But it’s a much simpler layer 2 than lightning.
