Had to work with oobabooga WebUI at work today. Apparently my boss' son wants to connect a selfhosted LLM to one of our DBs. Actually really neat.

But then he mentioned adding AI to our website and everything in my body just went

Does he realize that personal AI assistant s will prob kill the www part of internet anyway? Why browse web when I can ask my AI buddy to sift the filth?

He, much like his dad, is a rather oblivious person. I am sure he does see the impact of AI, but hasn't grasped the larger picture of it just yet.

It'll hit him, one day. And I won't be there. ;)

If you tell the kid if he really wants to do it if he’ll send you a picture and then you put the picture up I’ll let you know if he’s legit or not
