If people apply their twitter methods of having a lot of followers while following few people here, their feed will be boring and they won’t reap the benefits of Nostr

Yep I’ve been following peeps left right and centre and it makes it much more interesting
This is something I love about nostr. Without dependence on an algorithm to stay “in the loop” on the “trending” posts, the user is responsible for curation and access to their own content.
It’s just so much more human 🫂
It also easily defeats engagement farming which might be the most superficial component of traditional social media
Although I would love to see a “trending” option calculated by number of zaps (not total sats).
This would show: “how many people thought this note was exceptional enough to part with some Bitcoin”
Not “free” likes or wealthy sponsors.
How many plebs think it’s good.
