I think that developed as a medical procedure for a matter or health in some specific zones of the planet, specifically hot and dry places. I may be wrong, but the medical part comes after the cultural and traditional element in such situations.

I doubt that. That might be a story that is told.. It's not that hard having a "foreskin" As a dirty kid in the desert, I learned to clean when it got itchy. 🤷

jeah, when then tradition eats these practices, there's no way to stop them as long as that traditional group keeps going XD
