What does handle means?

Handles of family members and friends in the past… LongBoy, Fox, MoonPie, Dog Eyes, PacMan, Rooster….

These are a few I remember from childhood.

My sister's nickname is Moonpie! 🤣

That was my uncles nickname🤙🏻

They typically shortened it to “pie”

I may be showing my age but when I was a kid, we had a CB radio and my handle was Little Star because my mama was Morning Star.

My dad was Long-haired Country Boy

I think my handle would be Big Burrito 🌯 🤔

Mine would be “slippery-sandstorm”
