I’ve been doing this thing for awhile now where I don’t correct anyone’s assumptions about me.

When I stopped trying to defend myself I started to learn a lot more about others.

The assumptions someone holds about you actually speak volumes about them.

Give it a shot, you’ll get some interesting data from it.

But by posting you are intentionally inviting comments and discourse, especially if it's a topic that evokes emotion in people.

Maybe replying isn't defending... unless you see criticism and assumption as an attack?

I don’t see criticism or assumption as an attack no. I just see them as a reflection of the internal state of the other person.
