I'd probably need a discount to pay in BTC to be honest since I'll have a taxable event to deal with.

Yup. I'd need another incentive to buy with BTC.

Good example, if we're not going to be dumb and pay sales tax on a significant purchase, I would do that just to screw the tax system even without a discount.
