Kellin Pelrine, an American amature Go player has ruthlessly defeated a top-ranked AI system at the board game.

The tactic by which Kellin won was to use a well known weakness of the system revealed by a probe program at an earlier simulation.

This is exactly what makes us -humans- way more intelligent. Our ability to learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of others with the least number of simulations.
