Howâd Jack feel manipulating an election in 2020?
Who does he answer to? Who do you?
Who does Jack answer to?
Seems like most of the Nostr and BTC people are slobbering Jacks balls, all while he manipulated an election through Twitter and most certainly works for the CIA.
Yet we trust his helping to build Nostr?
Bizzare AF take but itâs good to see youâre thinking. Best we can ask of anyone. By we, I mean #humanity.
Whatâs bizzare about my question?
Is this Jacks burner account?
The belief that one man can be held responsible for manipulating an election is the bizarre take.
Jack invests in open source bitcoin projects. He didn't flat out apologize but he definitely changed a lot. He helped manipulate the election but that election was stolen anyways.
Are you fucking serious?
âSure, he manipulated an election but itâs fine. A LOT of people were doing it, itâs not like he was alone in destroying democracy.â
Do you fucking hear yourself?
That's a mainstream media sound bite. What precious democracy is he destroying?
Sure buddy whatâs your alternative.
Keep in mind youâre praising the same fucking guy that is one of the depraved taking advantage of democracies.
So, your credibility is close to nothing at the moment. But Iâm bored so will play along.
Nation states are obsolete and the globalists are taking advantage of that. People that would fight it wanting to bring back sovereign nation states are misguided imo. The resolution is different in different places but America has its roots in decentralization (federation of states) so that is possibly something to look to.
Jack invest in the ability to easily track and identify users, and creates open platforms where itâs super easy to plant CP and other illegal content on your phone simply by browsing.â
What a hero!
I understand your anger and agree with it, but this is truly a case of "everyone does it". For example most small business websites are loaded with creepy trackers and ad malware because of the libraries and platforms they use. Why not focus some of that energy on denouncing surveillance/censorship capitalism rather than so much on one dude.
Donât change the subject from election interference to bullshit commerce trackers.
That one dude is currently espousing the benefits of a âdecentralized (not really,â and âopen (kind of)â platform that will be great for surveillance.
All while the same one dude is one of the top 10 people responsible for election interference, false medical information, and inciting riots from 2020.
A lot of people on Nostr idolize people like Jack only because their natural tendencies to kiss the feet of âcelebrityâ surfaces like pathetic little puppies. I see it all the time, it was no different on Twitter.
Interesting đ§ I didnât join Twitter until 2022 so itâs good to hear other viewpoints.
Itâs also obvious to me that one person shouldnât be held accountable for results of an election. The reading comprehension rates (in USA) combined with amount of voter turnout proves it is a much larger problem. While I donât think itâs fair that the one with the biggest microphone *should* be heard thatâs an issue we must deal with.
It is easy to blame Twitter or Fox News (or any media) on manipulating humans.
This takes the human rights out of the equation. The humans who choose to engage with *anything* should have some self-accountability.
